Burhani Montessori is hiring primary Lead teachers for ages 3-6.
Applicants should have a passion and commitment for providing the highest standards in early childhood education. Our school will be an authentic Montessori school, which follows the Montessori methodology and philosophy with Montessori materials integrated with art & Deeni program. If you are not currently certified but have educational experience and/or a degree in Early Childhood Education, we may consider you, provided you are willing to become Montessori-certified.
The Lead Teacher, with the support and supervision of the Educational Director is expected to establish and maintain a quality educational program, which follows the Montessori philosophy and pedagogy by fulfilling the following responsibilities:

1. Prepares and maintains environment on a daily basis meeting the needs of all learners in all areas of the curriculum – Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, Science, Culture.
2. Plans and implements individualized curriculum for children in the classroom.
3. Maintains positive working relationship with parents.
4. Maintains progress records for each child in the classroom.
5. Supervises and directs activities of assistant teacher assigned to the classroom.
6. Informs Director of pertinent issues regarding staff, children, families and the school.
7. Ensures all areas of the classroom are clean and safe at all times.
8. Any additional duties as determined by the Director of the school.

5. Help maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
